The World No. 4 is 22-4 for the season on clay
Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas has accepted a wild card into the Hamburg European Open, the tournament announced Saturday. The ATP 500 clay-court event will be played from 12-18 July.
The World No. 4 reached the final at Roland Garros (l. to Djokovic) in June, but suffered a surprise first-round exit at Wimbledon as he fell to American Frances Tiafoe in straight sets.
It will be the second time the 22-year-old has played at the clay-court event in Germany. Tsitsipas enjoyed a run to the final last September at the ATP 500 event before succumbing to Russian Andrey Rublev.

Tsitsipas sits in second position in the FedEx ATP Race To Turin, holding a 39-10 record on the season. He claimed his first ATP Masters 1000 trophy at the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters (d. Rublev) in April and won the Open Parc Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes Lyon title in May.
He will be joined at the tournament by World No. 13 Pablo Carreno Busta and the 20-year-old Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime.
