Australia’s hottest acts and upcoming talent will perform on the Heineken Stage at Grand Slam® Oval during Australian Open 2012.
Presented by Nova 100, an array of musical artists including rock bands, live DJs and pop icons will descend on Grand Slam Oval to bring a party-like atmosphere each evening during the tournament.
Artists include Perth rockers Eskimo Joe, movers and shakers The Potbelleez, dance music group TV Rock and former Sherbet lead singer Daryl Braithwaite. Also performing will be Bluejuice, Josh Pyke, Lowrider, Tim Freedman & The Half Idle, Mark Seymour, Jason Singh, Busby Marou and The Vaudeville Smash. Washington and Jimmy Barnes will headline on the day of the women’s and men’s finals, providing the perfect warm-up for fans enjoying the finals action on the big screens at Grand Slam Oval.
Taking place from 6pm, concerts are open to all Australian Open spectators and are the perfect way to sit back and relax after spending a day watching the tennis at Melbourne Park.
