@Kamileki @Barty @Robertinho @Kiefer

Alaraz zachowa pierwsze miejsce przed US Open jeśli dotrze do finału Cincinnati.
W takim przypadku pozostanie na szczycie nawet jeśli to Djoković go pokona i wygra turniej.

No. 5 Holger Rune, +1 (Career High)
The 20-year-old’s climb up the Pepperstone ATP Rankings hit new heights on Monday when he cracked the Top 5 for the first time. The Dane broke into the Top 100 for the first time in January 2022, before he made his Top 10 debut last November after winning the Rolex Paris Masters. Rune has captured four tour-level titles and will aim to add to his collection at this week’s Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati.
No. 6 Jannik Sinner, +2 (Career High)
The 21-year-old has also jumped to a career-high No. 6 after becoming just the second Italian to win a Masters 1000 title (also Fabio Fognini, Monte-Carlo 2019). Sinner defeated Alex de Minaur in the Toronto final to improve to 18-4 at Masters 1000 events this season. He is also the youngest Canadian Masters 1000 champion since then-20-year-old Alexander Zverev in 2017.
No. 12 Alex de Minaur, +6 (Career High)
The 24-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough Masters 1000 run in Toronto, where he reached his first final at that level. The Australian defeated seeds Cameron Norrie, Taylor Fritz and Daniil Medvedev before falling against Sinner. De Minaur is up six spots to No. 12 in the Pepperstone ATP Live Rankings.
No. 23 Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, +14 (Career High)
The Spaniard has climbed into the Top 25 after advancing to his second Masters 1000 semi-final in Toronto. Davidovich Fokina, who lost in the Monte-Carlo final in 2022, earned a Top 10 victory against Casper Ruud in Canada.
No to wracamy - w Cincinnati możliwa jest kolejna zmiana lidera.

Inside Alcaraz vs. Djokovic Battle For World No. 1 In Cincinnati
Spoiler:
Djokovic has an opportunity to retake top spot
Carlos Alcaraz is in control of his own destiny this week in the battle for No. 1 in the Pepperstone ATP Rankings at the Western & Southern Open.
If the Spaniard reaches the Cincinnati final, he will retain No. 1 leading into the US Open. Otherwise, Novak Djokovic will have an opportunity to reclaim top spot.
If the 20-year-old Alcaraz advances to the semi-finals, he will force the Serbian to make the final to take back World No. 1. Djokovic must reach the championship clash to have a chance.
Cincinnati Points Breakdown Per Round
Player R2 R16 QF SF F W
Alcaraz 9,225 9,305 9,395 9,575 9,815 10,215
Djokovic 8,805 8,885 8,975 9,155 9,395 9,795
There is the possibility of a tie, too. If Djokovic makes the final and Alcaraz reaches the quarter-finals, they both will have 9,395 points. Djokovic would reclaim World No. 1 in that scenario because he holds more combined Pepperstone ATP Rankings points from the mandatory tournaments (Grand Slams, ATP Masters 1000 mandatory tournaments and Nitto ATP Finals).
If Djokovic retakes World No. 1 this week, he will retain it at least through the US Open, where Alcaraz is defending 2,000 points. No matter what happens in Cincinnati, Djokovic will arrive in Flushing Meadows with an opportunity. to leave with No. 1.
Alcaraz has already held World No. 1 for 33 weeks since first ascending to the top after winning last year’s US Open. The Spaniard has spent more weeks in the position than 12 other former World No. 1s, including Mats Wilander, Daniil Medvedev, Andy Roddick and his coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero. He is trying to earn ATP Year-End No. 1 presented by Pepperstone honours for the second consecutive year.
Djokovic owns the record for weeks at World No. 1 (389) and year-end No. 1 finishes (7). The 36-year-old most recently was No. 1 in June.

Djokovic-Alcaraz Cincinnati Final Causes Seismic Shift In Battle For No. 1
Spoiler:
Djokovic in great position to reclaim top spot at US Open
Carlos Alcaraz leaves Cincinnati as the No. 1 player in the Pepperstone ATP Rankings. But when Novak Djokovic defeated the Spaniard in an unforgettable Western & Southern Open final on Sunday, the Serbian put himself in prime position to reclaim World No. 1 at the US Open.
According to the Pepperstone ATP Live Rankings, Alcaraz now leads Djokovic by only 20 points. Because the 20-year-old will be defending 2,000 points at the season's final major compared to none for Djokovic, who did not play the event last year, the 36-year-old is the overwhelming favourite to leave Flushing Meadows in the top spot.
Pepperstone ATP Live Rankings
Player Points
1) Carlos Alcaraz 9,815
2) Novak Djokovic 9,795
3) Daniil Medvedev 6,260
4) Holger Rune 4,790
5) Casper Ruud 4,715
All the Serbian needs to do in New York to guarantee his return to World No. 1 is win his first-round match, putting a return to top spot completely in his hands during the coming fortnight.
The reason Djokovic has such a big opportunity is because he managed to rally from a set and a break down against Alcaraz in the Cincinnati final. The result caused a seismic shift in the battle for World No. 1, tilting 800 points in the 39-time ATP Masters 1000 champion's favour.
If Alcaraz converted his championship point in the second-set tie-break, he would have departed the Lindner Family Tennis Centre with a 820-point advantage in the Pepperstone ATP Rankings. Instead, he is on the verge of losing his position.
Had Alcaraz won the final, Djokovic would have needed to reach the US Open final to be guaranteed of a return to World No. 1. Instead, he just needs to avoid a first-round upset. The Serbian has not lost in the first round of a major since the 2006 Australian Open.

Djokovic's victory set the stage for an epic battle for ATP Year-End No. 1 presented by Pepperstone honours over the final three months of the season. In the Pepperstone ATP Live Race To Turin, which is a barometre for the year-end No. 1 battle, Alcaraz leads Djokovic by 510 points.
The reason Alcaraz has a longterm advantage is that he did not compete in last year's Nitto ATP Finals, while Djokovic swept his way to the title and 1,500 points. But with up to 2,000 points up for grabs at Flushing Meadows, there is plenty of room for movement.
Djokovic might not return to World No. 1 Monday, but he did make the ongoing battle for the top of the men's tennis mountain even more interesting.
