Sinner powalczy z Rune, bo nie będzie chciał grać z Medvedevem w półfinale.
Często się posądza sportowców o jakieś kalkulacje, ale raczej niewiele ma to wspólnego z rzeczywistością, Sinner wyjdzie by zgarnąć 200 punktów i kolejne 350 koła, później będzie myślał o nadchodzącym rywalu.
To się zgadza, ale inaczej gra się ze świadomością, że masz już pewne pierwsze miejsce w grupie i ostatni mecz o niczym nie decyduje. Dominic Thiem w 2019 roku ograł Federera i Djokovica i był pewny pierwszej lokaty. W trzecim meczu dość gładko przegrał z najsłabszym Berretinim. Austriak nie musiał kalkulować, po prostu nie miał pełnej motywacji do walki z Włochem.
W przypadku Sinnera tego motywu nie będzie, bo zagra także z Duńczykiem o pierwsze miejsce w grupie, istotne w kontekście pólfinąłów.

Swoją drogą niesamowite jak Djoković wytrzymuje te 3-setówki w tym wieku, po takim sezonie, na jego samym końcu. No ale rywale w trybie "gej polski" pewnie też swoje robią. Mało kto wierzy w swoje szanse w deciderze.

Zgadza się, motywacja na pewno jest inna i trudno o to mieć nawet pretensje do zawodnika, ale nie sądzę by Sinner przed własną publicznością nie był odpowiednio zmotywowany.

Z drugiej strony jak ma taką szansę wyrzucić z turnieju jego głównego faworyta...kto wie.
@Kamileki, Hubert wyznacza trendy. Teorię Stachowskiego, że w Top-100 nie ma żadnego geja też wyrzucił do kosza.

Daniil Medvedev and Jannik Sinner have guaranteed their place sin the semi-finals of the Nitto ATP Finals. Which champions will join them in the last four?
The other stars who advance through Green Group and Red Group will be determined on Thursday and Friday, respectively.
In the Green Group, Novak Djokovic and Holger Rune could both move through. The only player in the group who does not have a chance to reach the semi-finals is alternate Hubert Hurkacz, who stepped in for Stefanos Tsitsipas (back) against Djokovic and won the second set, guaranteeing Sinner's semi-final qualification.

Z reszta powinien decydować bezpośredni mecz jak w grupie LM i w La liga.

Ze spokojem jeszcze Djoko nie odpadł, jeszcze Rune nie wygrał zreszta sam sobie jest winny mógł wygrać z Hurkaczem 2:0 w setach i by miał awans zapewniony taki jest sport.
