Aż 3 rozstawione zawodniczki wycofały się z dolnej połówki, która i tak była dużo słabsza od górnej. Coco Gauff, jakby to dziwnie nie zabrzmiało, jest teraz zdecydowaną faworyką do wzięcia udziału w finale. Żadna inna tenisistka z tej sekcji nie jawi się jako poważna kandydatka.
