Trochę zbyt daleko od linii końcowej, trochę za dużo błędów, ale cóż...., może w finale zagra swój najlepszy pojedynek.

Akurat z Almagro zawsze ma podobne mecze, swoją drogą ciekawe jak długo potrwa dominacja Hiszpana na kortach RG,bo mam wrażenie że bardzo długo.

Murray od dłuższego czasu gra zdecydowanie najmniej z całego grona Top-4, a mimo to problemy zdrowotne go nie opuszczają. Co chwila coś go tam pobolewa, a w tym roku wygląda to wyjątkowo niepokojąco.

Ale jak widziałem jakie armaty wczoraj zabrał na kort Almagro a potem skonfrontowałem to z tym co ugrał to zaczynam mieć wątpliwości. Rafa kiedy potrzebował to punkty wygrywał, kiedy potrzebował to przełamał. A Almagro walił jak tylko mógł. Chyba jednak nie doceniam tego Nadala..

Roger Federer admits it was hard to focus with the Djokovic vs Tsonga score flashing.

Federer: Please Don't Flash Me
It’s not easy to concentrate when one of your biggest rivals - and possibly your next opponent - is playing at the same time on another show court. Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic both ran into that predicament on Tuesday, with their matches on Suzanne Lenglen and Court Philippe Chatrier starting just minutes apart.

With Djokovic battling against home favourite Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Federer - who fell behind two sets to love against Juan Martin del Potro - admitted that it turned into a bit of a distraction. The Swiss asked the chair umpire if they could limit the constant updates flashing on the scoreboard.

“It was almost a bit bothering because we’re not used to playing at the same time and the crowds are getting into the matches on the other courts,” said Federer in an interview with Justin Gimelstob on Tennis Channel. “They are always showing the score of the other match. Once they even showed it during the tie-breaker of our second set, and I told them to please switch it off so the focus is on this court.

“If it’s always that way, it’s no problem. It’s just in this one, I thought it wasn’t necessary, because it was Jo-Wilfried Tsonga playing on the other court against Novak. And Jo being French, all the French crowd in the stadium wanted to know what was going on. I was like, ‘Maybe you can only show it once a set instead of the whole time.’ It plays on your mind. It reminded me a bit of golf. When you hear a good shot, you hear the roars.”

The Calm After The Storm
What would you do after saving four match points to reach the Roland Garros semi-finals by winning a four hour, five-minute tussle? Djokovic shared the following post on Facebook following his comeback victory over Tsonga on Wednesday:

“In case you were wondering what I do after such a long match: after all the press and recovery that is routine for everyone, I go home and watch some TV and then sit by the computer to see what happened outside the world of tennis. I end up reading your comments and words of support and appreciation, and that is what brings me back all the energy that I left out there on the court. It was a long day today, I know it was tough for you to watch too - so thank you for being there for me till the end! I will use wisely these 2 days to recover and be ready for semis.”

Iron Man
Don’t call him “warrior” or “gladiator”. David Ferrer revealed in a Q&A with RolandGarros.com that those were his most stupid nicknames. “I think they’re a bit simplistic, and not really my style,” he said. “However, I do like ‘Ferru’ - it’s a mix of my name and the word for iron in Spanish. It means I’m resistant.”

But though he may be tough as nails on the court, the Spaniard admitted that he never had the courage to talk to a couple of his peers. “I was intimidated by Andre Agassi. And Marcelo Rios, too. I don’t know why, but I was always nervous with them. I completely lost my cool.”

Big Fish
Rafael Nadal may be the ‘Big Kahuna’ on the red clay in Paris, but declared during his post-match quarter-final press conference Thursday that when he goes fishing with his friends, he is not the expert.

“I am not that good. I’m an amateur at fishing,” Nadal said. “When I go, I go with friends who really know what to do. When I am able to have time and holiday and go, I go. The problem with fishing is you have to go early in the morning. It's not because I don't like to go early in the morning. I love to wake up early and go fishing, but I practise in the morning. My uncle will not be very happy if I tell him that today I going to practise in the afternoon because I go fishing. That's the problem, no?”

French No. 1 Tsonga also talked about fishing in a video interview with RolandGarros.com. Though he said he has yet to fish with fellow hobbyists Nadal and Nikolay Davydenko, he shared that he’s channelled it into a friendly rivalry with his friends.

“For me it’s a relaxing moment. It allows me to forget about my real every day tennis life. It’s a way for me to get away from it all and refill my batteries,” said Tsonga. “[My friends and I] shoot the breeze, have a laugh, and there is also a sort of competition spirit, because it’s about who will catch the biggest fish. The biggest I caught was at sea [in Miami]. It was a 60 kg catfish.”

Handled With Care
Janko Tipsarevic received a special message from the airport staff, when he flew out of Paris back home to Belgrade following his fourth round loss to Nicolas Almagro. Handwritten on his baggage destination tag were the words, “Good luck next time”. The Serbian tweeted a photo with appreciation: “Hehehe thumbs up for the check in crew at Charles de Gaulle airport pic.twitter.com/UnvUZqCi”

Żeby wygrać z Nadalem potrzebna jest nieustanna agresja przez cały mecz, który najprawdopodobniej będzie trwał minimum 4 godziny, nieustanne przejmowanie inicjatywy, doprowadzające do jak najszybszego kończenia wymian (vide Soderling 09) lub powolnego rozpracowywania go,ale też na drodze ofensywy (Djokovic 11). Ani dla Almagro, ani tym bardziej dla Ferrera to nie jest naturalny styl gry. Oni tak mogą od czasu do czasu, ale nie ciągle. Stąd brak argumentów na Rafę.

Sądzę że RF wygra z Djoko, ale to będzie raczej festiwal błędów niż to co było rok temu. W drugim 1/2 pewnie Nadal, ale trzymam kciuki za Ferrera Ciekawie będzie wyglądał bez włosów gdyby wygrał . Typy? Roger 3/1, Nadal 3/1 a w finale Fafka rozjedzie Fedala podobnie jak to było w 2007.
